HOLIDAY SONGWRITING WORKSHOP
For kids aged 8-12, this is the ultimate songwriting experience during the summer school holidays!
Students will get to bring their musical ideals to reality at this 2 day immersive songwriting workshop at South Head Anglican Church, Watsons Bay.
Led by former Universal Music artist, Sophie Hanlon and acclaimed musician Daniel Amalm, this fun filled creative workshop is designed to suit those with little to no musical experience right through to advanced musicians.
Kids will:
* Learn about song structure
* Understand and practice lyric writing
* Learn and use popular chord progressions
* Understand and practice melody creation
* Get hands on with industry-standard music tools and software
* Collaborate with other young musicians in creative songwriting exercises
* Leave with their own recorded track!
